Aubrey Christina Plaza is an American actress, comedian and producer. She began her career in impromptu comedy and drawing at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theater. She is best known for the lead role of April Ludgate in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. She then starred in the drama FX Legion. Plaza had her first lead role in the movie Safety Is Not Guaranteed. She also starred in the films Team Mystery, The Comedy, Scott Pilgrim vs Scott. the world, Monster College, Life After Beth, Dirty Grandpa, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, The Little Hours, Ingrid Goes West, An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn, Children's Game, Happiest Season and Black Bear.
After breaking through in the television series Parks and Recreation as April Ludgate, she was cast in FX's Legion in 2016. Safety Not Guaranteed, her first main part in a feature film, was released in 2012. She went on to star in Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates in 2016 and the Child's Play adaptation in 2019.
